Scholarly Activity

DoctorWe have a Residency Research Coordinator who will assist in choice of project and assign each resident a research mentor.

Residents may take a half-day per week during the Ambulatory Care rotation to dedicate to scholarly activity. Trainees may have the opportunity to take a block of time dedicated to doing scholarly activity if approved by the Residency Training Committee (RTC).

The residents are encouraged to submit these to the Department of Medicine Research Committee in Halifax for presentation at the Dalhousie Department of Medicine Research Day and any other peer reviewed meetings.
